Marcus is a guitarist and founder of Mersey Music Hub, with over a decade of experience performing and teaching across Liverpool. His playing spans everything from clean indie arpeggios to full-on rock and blues, and he brings that versatility into every lesson.

He believes that the best lessons start with what the student actually wants to play. Rather than working through a rigid syllabus, Marcus builds each lesson plan around the music that excites you — whether that’s nailing a riff from your favourite band, developing your own style, or working towards a formal grade.

Marcus also teaches bass guitar and covers music theory alongside guitar, giving students a well-rounded musical education if that’s the direction they want to take. His lessons are relaxed, focused, and always built around making real progress.
